Beautiful location, relaxed atmosphere with Spa facilities to totally chill you out.
Able to stroll into the lovely town of Inverary and feel part of the local scene. Also, immediate access to country walks through back entrance.
I could not fault this hotel for anything. The food was excellent for a hotel of this rating. The situation of the hotel on the loch is stunning. We will definitely be back/
Enjoyed facilites, nice room, newer part of hotel were nice, nice town
Food, (breakfast ok) service slow, be better having a bathrobe for after using pool etc, no entertainment at night, nothing for children no play area etc
Loch Fyne and Spar hotel is in a great position on the side of Loch Fyne just outside Inverary the pool and spar were great and the food was was very good.
We were the last couple in the dinning room and found it a little rude for the staff to be cleaning up tables around us and the background music was switched off whilst we were have our dessert there were very large gaps bettween our courses, I think that staff were in short supply that evening and the same staff were tending the bar in the lounge, shame really as the hotel is clearly a very nice place just let down by the lack of staff this issue was also clear at breakfast.
Splendid location, good facilities, courteous staff
Beds were a bit hard
Everything - a very relaxing break.
the spa/pool were vg food vg worth a visit
The view and the outside spa!
Service extremely poor, sluggish, distanced from basic cutomer needs. They must loose a fortune on food & drink orders. I am officially putting a complaint into the manager. Breakfast juice glasses still sitting on bar counter at 2pm the following afternoon, I ordered champagne for a special occasion and it took 45 mins for it to be taken to the table despite asking for it on several occasions as my guests where ready to leave. Also booked through you, I called hotel 2 days before I arrived to confirm booking, to be told they didn't have a reservation for me. Not happy at all, what a waste of a perfectly lovely hotel due to poor management.
Relaxed environment and beautiful location
too hot in the public areas
I enjoyed the setting and surrounding areas. I appreciated the free access to the excellent spa facilities. I thought the hotel was well maintained and promoted a relaxed atmosphere.
I was unimpressed by the member of staff at the desk on arrival, as they were unable to use the facilities at the desk to check us in. The initial staff member present seemed uninterested in welcoming us. I felt the restaurant really let down the hotel. The greeter was abrupt and annoyed that some guests had not booked a table. We sat for 20 mins before anyone approached us to offer drinks etc. The food was, in my opinion, of poor quality and our requested med/rare steak was served well done. However, the hotel did not charge us for our meal due to the error.
We have stayed at Crerar Hotels quite a few times now. We find them comfortable and the leisure facilities, swimming pool spa etc. are very good. The Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was sometimes a bit slow.
The spa facilities were excellent- fantastic massages.
I liked the location, the food and service, the pleasant atmosphere and the helpful staff.
There were no loch views from the wing we stayed in, which housed the majority of the rooms and had no WiFi.
food and spa facilities excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly
